Gerald Lewis currently serves as the Director for Strategic Partnerships with World Vision International (WVI). World Vision is an Christian international relief and development organisation dedicated to helping children and their communities worldwide reach their full potential by tackling the causes of poverty.
Mr Lewis' responsibilities include assisting World Vision to engage in greater cross-sector partnerships in order to leverage its resources alongside the knowledge capital and core competencies of other organisations to work together toward shared sustainable development goals. This focus includes expanding the number of partnerships with corporations, academic institutions, and other organisations to improve the impact of World Vision's work with communities.
Mr Lewis has served in a variety of leadership roles in international relief and development: program director, country director, regional director and regional vice president. During his prestigious career Mr Lewis has worked in Nicaragua, Sudan, Kenya, Cyprus and Bangkok and has visited and worked in more than 100 countries.
