Mr. Van Roon is the coordinator of the procurement portfolio within IPA. Coming from a background in the shipping industry, Mr. Van Roon joined IPA in 1989 as logistic manager. In this position he has built up a vast experience in the organization of logistic operations in 3rd world countries. Since the end of the 90’s Mr. Van Roon has expanded his activities to broader aspects of supply chain management.
He has worked for many years in a range of African countries in the context of procurement projects, mainly focusing on post trauma environments. Furthermore, he is responsible for the implementation and maintenance of IPA’s (ISO 9001:2000 certified) Quality Management System (QMS). Mr. Van Roon is a Dutch citizen.
